Welcome to George School Day Camp.

Established in 1977, George School Day Camp (GSDC) is committed to teaching kids to play together in recreational fun. We love creating fun summer camp memories for kids! Anchored by a caring and loving staff, a summer at GSDC builds a sense of community and friendship that can last a lifetime.

Located on the beautiful 240-acre campus of George School, our campus features two large gymnasiums, a twenty five-meter, eight-lane indoor pool, and air conditioned computer labs, as well as plenty of indoor facilities, manicured fields, woods, streams, and trails.

GSDC averages about 275 campers. Each group is comprised of same-age, same-gender kids and is under the leadership of a trained counselor. Groups transition to various activities in a schedule that changes every day. At each activity is an experienced activity leader. Activity leaders are either professional teachers by trade or college-age students who may be pursuing a teaching career. This leadership ensures us of a low camper-to-staff ratio, usually about 4:1.

GSDC runs for seven weeks. In order to develop continuity in each group and to foster a strong sense of community, we offer the following summer session enrollment options: the first three weeks, the last four weeks, or all seven weeks. By far, the majority of our campers stay for all seven weeks.

Want to see the campus? Due to the busy schedule of the George School students throughout the school year, we do not offer tours. Please click here to take a virtual tour.
